Liberals scared of teens?

Submitted by Ian Hecht on March 27, 2006 – 2:06 pm2 Comments

So “BattleCry for a Generation” showed up in San Francisco this past weekend, and rather than show the 25,000 teens that S.F. really is the city of tolerance, they were met with epithets and insults.

My least-favorite of the idiots attacking the teens is IndyMedia, who felt it necessary to drag out the usual comparisons of Bush/Hitler and Christianity/Nazism and shout at the praying teenagers that they were not wanted. Way to go, San Fran!

What cracks me up most is the disparity in numbers. Twenty-five thousand Christian teens come to town, and all you can manage in counter protest is 50 people? And yet these fifty still managed to spew venom all over the teens, who were simply saying that culture has gone too far. What is it about a call to morality that has the left running scared?
